BAGRE EN SALSA CRIOLLA

Ingredients
- 2 slices of catfish
- ½ tablespoon of butter
- ¼ cup of coconut milk
- Salt to taste
- 1 garlic clove finely chopped
- 1 chopped tomato
- ½ chopped onion
- A handful of coriander
Instructions
- Cook the catfish fillets with butter and milk. Season with salt to taste.
- Cover the pot over low heat for about 15 minutes.
- To prepare the sauce, sauté the garlic, tomatoes, onion and cilantro in a little oil.
- Add salt to taste.
- Stir gently and remove from heat when ingredients are soft and have a sauce consistency.
- Add the sofrito to the catfish and let it simmer for about 3 minutes.
- Serve the catfish in a tray or plate and cover it completely with the Creole sauce.
- Accompany rice, avocado salad, patacones or yucca.
